Wk 4 Survey 1: Activities

Welcome to the Blog Cafe! Your order will be ready soon!

As of recently, I have been doing surveys around my school. I prefer to ask people of the current generations that are still in high school. My first survey is on the activities that people enjoy doing. I should have written how many people participated because it was multi-choice.

The results were:

Movies 14

Video Games 10

Reading 9

Watching Movies 9

Music 8

Social Media 8

Sports 7

Not listed 7

Visual Art 4

Performing Art 2

Nothing 2

Programming/Coding 1

All of the Above 0

To be honest, I was surprised. I expected more on social media compared to movies, and less on reading. These are my current results for today, and I hope to see you again!

Week 3: Creative Commons and Original Art

  1. Welcome to the Blog Cafe! Your order will be ready soon!

Today, I would like to talk about Creative Commons, and what they are.

Creative Commons, in short, give permission to use other people’s work, to an extent. Creative commons consist a total of six different Creative Commons (CC). Let’s get started!

Attribution (CC BY) allows make edits or additional works to your work, even for commercial purposes, as long as you, the creator, are given permission.

Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) allows the same thing that Attributions alone allows, however, you will need to keep the same terms that the original creator had provided.

Attribution-NoDerivs (CC BY-ND) allows others to reuse the work, such as sharing, while giving credit but terms still apply.

Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) allows what Attributions allow, but they cannot gain profit. However, they don’t need to put terms of the same kind in their work.

Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) allows what Attributions-NonCommercials allows, but you must list the same or identical terms used by you while giving credit.

Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND) does not allow others to profit from your works, or make any changes. It does, however, allows others to share your work while giving credit to you.

If you have any important information, please let me know.

Week 2

So unfortunately, I was unable to make a video for week 2.

But, I am still gonna do this.

I found that comment was a way to be creative in a conversation in a different way. However, I recommend that you always,

Be kind.

Be thoughtful.

Be honest.

And be respectful.

I might be able to get the vide uploaded, maybe soon.

SCOTLAAAAAAAND!

Welcome to the Blog Cafe! If you see a UFO outside, please take no pictures. The last thing we need is the military.

Today we talk about Scotland!…not the geography, I am in no way an expert on anything, geography-wise. I’ll just talk about a few bits here and there of like culture and stuff. Now, please keep your arms and legs outside of the ride, if you feel light headed, puke on the people behind you. And please remember that I am in no way, fully knowledgeable about Scotland. If I get something wrong or leave out something important, please let me know.

To start, let’s go with the ethnic relations. In Scotland, there is tension between the English and Scottish, with areas such as getting a job, housing, and also racism that occurs as well, normally towards “non-white Scots”.

The justice system is based on a judgement system, like a judge, and will find a person either innocent or guilty.

  • Woman earn 72% of what men earn
  • Some men and woman think its OK to hit a woman or force themselves

You can probably sense the laziness…

I won’t judge or anything on anything, and if I offend or anything in any way, if any of this is inaccurate, please let me know and correct me, and please state that you are offended or hurt in any way in a calm manner.

Also please let me know of any folklore or myths/legends.
